[00:00:07.259] So welcome in everyone again today [00:00:09.310] we're talking about gale business insights [00:00:13.159] My name is Amber Winters and I am [00:00:15.460] your training consultant for the day. [00:00:21.000] So I've got just a quick agenda here for everyone. [00:00:23.239] We're here for 45 minutes today. [00:00:26.500] Well give me 1 2nd here, [00:00:28.489] Just had a quick question pop up. we're [00:00:30.949] here for 45 minutes today so we've got lots of [00:00:33.009] time to go through everything new and exciting [00:00:35.250] that's happening within Gil business insights. [00:00:37.539] So first we'll talk about the resource just [00:00:39.569] in general, what the updates are going to look [00:00:41.618] like, what the content you're going to see is within [00:00:43.750] the resource. So this will be great if you're, [00:00:46.329] you know familiar with business [00:00:48.529] insights and you just want to take a look at the new features. [00:00:51.039] But it will also be helpful if you're brand new to business [00:00:53.270] insights, we are going to cover what you're going to find [00:00:55.310] in that resource. [00:00:57.399] We'll talk about the content and the features and as [00:00:59.500] we do that we're going to actually walk through the platform. [00:01:01.899] So we're going to see all of those nice new features [00:01:03.917] in action. We're going to see the new organization, [00:01:06.599] we've got quite a few different tools [00:01:08.837] as well that we're going to be able to take a look at [00:01:12.250] and I just got a notice that you can just now [00:01:14.430] see my screen, so if anyone's having trouble seeing [00:01:16.557] my screen please let me know it should have [00:01:18.587] an agenda slide on the on the screen here. [00:01:21.069] Um And I do have time, I'll try to save time [00:01:23.188] at the end of the session for any questions you have [00:01:25.658] and I do have some contact information, so if [00:01:27.698] you need some additional support or want to [00:01:29.730] go more in depth into something, you'll have [00:01:32.079] a contact to do that. [00:01:35.658] So let's go ahead and get started here. So what exactly [00:01:37.948] is happening? I'm sure the majority of you are here because [00:01:40.218] you've gotten um some some [00:01:42.628] information from Gale that we're updating [00:01:45.009] gale business insights. So [00:01:47.777] What's happening right now. We have two platforms, [00:01:50.348] we have business insights global [00:01:52.579] and business insights essential. [00:01:54.837] So what's happening is we're pulling those together [00:01:56.959] and we're creating Gale business insights. [00:01:59.680] So you're getting all of the same great contents [00:02:02.528] tools, features, all that good stuff. [00:02:04.620] But we've pulled it into a new platform [00:02:06.638] and we've combined those two soon [00:02:08.889] to be legacy platforms into this one. Gil [00:02:11.098] business insights. What's nice is your [00:02:13.128] library is not going to need to do a single thing. [00:02:15.800] when it's time for this to transfer over, everything's [00:02:17.929] going to transfer over for you and you're going [00:02:20.000] to be good to go. [00:02:21.807] Your users can actually try the new experience now [00:02:24.027] if they want to, we have enrolled them all the way [00:02:26.038] over but it is live. So if [00:02:28.050] they want to on your home page of either business [00:02:30.218] insights global or business insights essentials, [00:02:32.978] they're going to have this little orange, try the new [00:02:35.069] experience button, it's not required [00:02:37.389] but if they want to start taking a look or if you [00:02:39.418] haven't been able to take a look yet you [00:02:41.449] can click into that, Try the new experience to get a feel [00:02:43.587] of what it's going to look like when we fully transition [00:02:45.668] everyone owed over later this year. [00:02:48.990] and this new platform we're changing to you'll see [00:02:51.027] down here, my second screenshot [00:02:53.500] has increased the accessibility quite a bit. [00:02:55.867] So we've moved forward from what [00:02:58.199] you see now at the top of this page towards something [00:03:00.587] that we use for a lot of other gale databases. [00:03:02.867] If you're familiar with gale, you've probably [00:03:04.949] seen this bottom screenshots. Um [00:03:07.777] and a lot of your different resources [00:03:09.889] with a more um clean sleek [00:03:12.460] look less um [00:03:14.688] less frills and things all over the place [00:03:16.740] because as we have different bits [00:03:19.210] and pieces all over the home page a lot of times that [00:03:21.378] decreases the accessibility for your users [00:03:23.628] who have special needs. So we've [00:03:25.750] streamlined, make everything a lot easier [00:03:27.889] to click into which is increasing that accessibility. [00:03:30.617] We've also enhanced the navigation. [00:03:33.587] So they're going to be able to search and browse just like [00:03:35.699] they did within business insights global [00:03:38.008] or essentials, but they're just going to have [00:03:40.149] some increased features. The advanced [00:03:42.319] search has really been [00:03:44.438] amplified to really ensure they can access [00:03:46.490] everything. We've got multiple different points [00:03:48.699] of entry into the resource to make sure they're getting to [00:03:50.788] exactly what they need. and to make sure [00:03:52.889] they can navigate between different [00:03:55.038] ideas and different sections with [00:03:57.408] as few clicks as possible. So we're trying to [00:03:59.429] make this platform a bit more intuitive [00:04:01.699] to make sure everyone can really easily [00:04:03.718] work their way through their research and find what they [00:04:05.837] need in a timely manner [00:04:08.538] We've included some additional tools here as [00:04:10.710] well. So as we go through, you'll see we've got some great [00:04:12.929] highlights and notes options. We have [00:04:15.068] a listen tool. If your patrons or users need [00:04:17.319] to have articles read to them, we [00:04:19.459] have a nice integration with both google and Microsoft [00:04:21.939] that's going to allow them to send content over. [00:04:24.220] that way we still have [00:04:26.449] our comparison charts but they've been updated [00:04:28.949] a bit to be a little bit more easier to use. [00:04:31.290] So we'll take a look again at all of those today. [00:04:34.528] and we've pulled out on the home page now. Company [00:04:36.879] industry and country hubs. [00:04:39.899] So right on the home page, we've organized [00:04:41.970] them nice and neatly so your users can [00:04:44.159] take a look, they can browse through those sections [00:04:46.427] or they're going to be able to see some of the most [00:04:48.699] searched entities in each of those [00:04:50.879] three hubs. So again, a nice clean [00:04:53.269] platform for nice clean research. [00:04:58.209] So just in general, your business insights [00:05:00.629] has company, industry and country [00:05:02.889] information. [00:05:04.329] So it's going to include overviews and company [00:05:06.949] and industry profiles, financial [00:05:09.088] information, but also reference [00:05:11.487] materials that are going to be focused around [00:05:13.579] those companies and industries. [00:05:17.048] In addition to all of that content, as I mentioned [00:05:19.139] before, we are keeping our comparison charts [00:05:21.600] where users are going to be able to compare companies, [00:05:24.160] industries or countries and we [00:05:26.259] base it on key metrics including things like revenue, [00:05:28.519] employees and population. So of course that depends [00:05:30.920] on which entity you're comparing. [00:05:33.319] Um but they'll be able to develop those charts [00:05:35.677] and they can develop them and send over to their google [00:05:37.838] or Microsoft drives like I mentioned previously [00:05:40.119] or they can email or download it. [00:05:42.838] so again, we're keeping the functionality of [00:05:44.899] the comparison charts, we've just enhanced it [00:05:47.319] to make it more user friendly and easier [00:05:49.439] to navigate through. [00:05:51.540] and in addition to all of that content, [00:05:53.699] we have some really nice business and industry [00:05:55.819] publications. So we've got everywhere from [00:05:57.920] newspapers and magazine to [00:06:00.079] industry journals, to academic works related [00:06:02.439] to business. They're going to find all of that here [00:06:04.619] on the platform. [00:06:06.309] And we've actually pulled that out in its own section [00:06:08.540] as well. So, previously, you would [00:06:10.608] find the content by searching for, let's say, [00:06:12.670] a specific topic or a specific [00:06:14.809] company. And articles might pull up that way [00:06:17.108] this way, we've actually got our own little [00:06:19.139] section. So you can search through just publishing [00:06:21.689] if you're not so much interested in a company [00:06:24.048] overview, but you want to really just know, [00:06:26.540] what's going on in general [00:06:28.949] related to grocery stores or something like [00:06:31.000] that, you'll be able to search through that. So some of [00:06:33.079] the top publications include the new [00:06:35.100] york times, the Financial Times and the economists [00:06:37.548] are all available here on our platform, [00:06:41.040] And you are able to search through publications [00:06:43.149] as well. So if your users are, you're [00:06:45.177] looking for a specific title [00:06:47.500] and it's maybe a very precise title [00:06:49.759] about a specific industry or something like [00:06:51.819] that, they can actually search through the publications [00:06:54.298] now to really identify what exactly [00:06:56.439] they need we've [00:06:59.829] got a question here, when is the launch date for insights, [00:07:02.199] wondering when to update our websites? [00:07:04.528] So again, right now your [00:07:06.639] users can click into the platform [00:07:08.778] to explore it, but the kind of [00:07:10.987] full turnover is going to be in december. [00:07:20.910] Ok, but let's go ahead and just take a look at [00:07:22.927] this resource, it's pretty hefty, so I want to give [00:07:25.108] it justice to spend a lot of time in there. [00:07:27.298] Um does anyone have any questions at all for me before [00:07:29.379] we get going, [00:07:37.487] Ok, I don't see any see I got [00:07:39.579] the I got signed up for leaving this on my [00:07:41.659] browser too long. but this is [00:07:43.737] scale business insights. So this is our home page [00:07:45.909] here. And again, as I mentioned, it's been updated. [00:07:48.290] It looks a little more modern than the [00:07:50.389] current, business insights, [00:07:52.699] essentials and global. So we've modernized [00:07:55.088] it quite a bit. We've increased the accessibility. [00:07:57.778] So let's go over how we kind of organized it here. [00:08:00.660] So first I'll go down into just the body of the [00:08:02.720] home page. And again, as I mentioned, we have kind of like [00:08:04.737] little hubs built out. [00:08:06.369] So you see the first one is going to be about companies, [00:08:09.730] They can browse their companies or they can just take [00:08:11.769] a look at some of the top search ones. Of course [00:08:13.889] they're all going to be. [00:08:15.737] familiar names because the familiar [00:08:17.829] names are the ones that are getting searched the most [00:08:20.649] Again, we've pulled out publications here. [00:08:23.019] So if your patrons just want to take a look at publications, [00:08:25.569] they can, they can browse them or [00:08:27.850] they can take a look at some of the most utilized. [00:08:31.608] We've also pulled up topics here. [00:08:34.369] We have our industry section and then [00:08:36.399] we have our major market section which [00:08:38.408] is going to be all of the different countries [00:08:40.479] we have highlighted within this resource [00:08:42.940] so they can browse through countries as well as if maybe [00:08:45.269] they just want to take a look at what's going [00:08:47.500] on in the United States, What's going on in the United [00:08:49.590] Kingdom. If you have business students coming in [00:08:51.629] maybe who have projects [00:08:53.639] going on and they need some country focused [00:08:55.729] information, [00:08:57.269] They'll be able to pull that here right on the [00:08:59.369] platform [00:09:01.639] and what's really great is if I click into [00:09:03.778] our browse, so let's say we're going to browse all [00:09:05.788] of our companies today. [00:09:07.639] We've built out a lot of really nice filters [00:09:10.778] here that's going to help them navigate down to exactly [00:09:12.807] what they need because you can see here, um [00:09:15.000] I have over 400,000 [00:09:17.057] companies available to me which [00:09:19.099] is a little bit overwhelming. [00:09:21.028] So so you have different ways to filter it out here. [00:09:23.418] So I can filter now between public and private [00:09:25.739] companies and I will just mention here [00:09:28.000] generally we're going to have more information on [00:09:30.109] public companies than private companies. [00:09:32.320] just by the nature of the company. [00:09:34.629] Obviously public libraries, certain libraries, [00:09:37.274] public companies have to publish [00:09:39.504] their information. while private companies [00:09:41.932] do not. So we can actually narrow that [00:09:44.075] down now. We couldn't narrow it before. So let's, [00:09:46.354] we'll stick with public companies just [00:09:48.504] because generally we're going to have a little bit more [00:09:50.565] information. [00:09:52.519] So you see, I filtered out here to public, [00:09:54.918] I can choose to filter out their revenue. So if I'm looking [00:09:57.080] for a larger company or maybe on [00:09:59.259] the flip side if I'm maybe just starting off my small [00:10:01.548] business, I want to see, what smaller [00:10:04.038] companies I could be in competition with, you [00:10:06.057] know, if I'm opening up a coffee shop, [00:10:08.168] I know right now, I'm not going to be in direct [00:10:10.177] competition with Starbucks but [00:10:12.340] there could be smaller. Change that I am in competition [00:10:14.729] with. [00:10:16.259] so I can choose if I want to select [00:10:18.460] the buy revenue here. [00:10:20.399] If I have an industry code in mind, I can enter [00:10:22.570] that here [00:10:24.349] I can also choose by location so I can [00:10:26.528] narrow it down to country or I can get [00:10:28.788] even more narrow and narrow [00:10:30.960] it down to states or provinces. [00:10:34.427] And this last feature I think is really great [00:10:36.778] is I can choose what [00:10:38.798] type of data is available. So if I want to [00:10:40.807] make sure I'm seeing swat analyses [00:10:43.109] for a company. So swat is strengths, [00:10:45.750] weaknesses, opportunities and threats. [00:10:47.989] So it's kind of a, [00:10:50.460] An overall rundown about the company. [00:10:52.700] If I want to make sure I have those available, [00:10:54.719] I can choose that. [00:10:55.950] If I want to have company histories, I have [00:10:58.710] that available here as well, we [00:11:00.729] have a question, is there an industry code look up [00:11:02.798] tool? there is not [00:11:05.168] in the platform right now. [00:11:07.989] Um, what might be helpful is for them to try [00:11:10.080] to navigate through to an industry by [00:11:12.278] either browsing through the industry or searching the [00:11:14.320] industry and they'll have the code attached that way. [00:11:16.820] but right now we don't have an agency [00:11:19.048] code, industry, code browser [00:11:21.298] or search tool right now. [00:11:29.330] But I can choose to narrow it down here. So let's say I do [00:11:31.427] want to include my swat analysis as well. [00:11:38.038] So you know what you'll see, I can scroll down and I've narrowed this [00:11:40.190] down quite a bit now. I'm at 1500 companies [00:11:42.369] which is probably a lot more manageable for me. [00:11:44.889] And you'll see I'll be able to take a look at what different [00:11:47.080] types of data are available as [00:11:49.158] well as that additional information here. [00:11:56.460] Well let's go back to our home page for now [00:11:58.619] because we're not quite ready to take a look at a [00:12:00.629] company profile just yet. [00:12:03.677] So back on the home page, in addition to the main body [00:12:05.918] of the home page we have in our toolbar [00:12:08.009] here, a couple additional options [00:12:10.288] that are going to help us out. [00:12:11.989] So this is where the comparison charts are now [00:12:14.019] listed under this compare button. We'll [00:12:16.369] take a look at that a little bit later, but this is where [00:12:18.469] they'll select to compare either countries, [00:12:20.677] industries or companies [00:12:23.408] right next to that. We've got this really nice browse [00:12:25.649] button. Now, these first couple of course [00:12:27.918] are the same as what you're seeing on this home page, [00:12:30.408] but this button actually follows us along [00:12:32.450] throughout the session. So if I decide [00:12:35.239] maybe I'm on a company profile and [00:12:37.440] I want to start browsing something else as opposed to [00:12:39.450] going back to home and then click browse, [00:12:41.908] I can hit my browse button in my toolbar [00:12:43.950] and I can navigate to those different entries. [00:12:46.918] underneath that we also have the option [00:12:49.080] to browse through our glossary or [00:12:51.719] just financial or investment reports. [00:12:53.840] So if we don't need a history of companies [00:12:55.940] or things like that, we just need the financials. [00:12:58.200] We do have the ability to browse right here [00:13:00.399] on just those things. [00:13:04.239] We also have a get link tool [00:13:06.469] that's going to give you a persistent URL [00:13:08.557] to whatever page you're on. So [00:13:10.668] if you found a really nice company profile you're interested [00:13:12.969] in maybe you want to save it, share it with a colleague [00:13:15.219] or if you're a student, you want to share it with a group. [00:13:17.538] , you can just use that. Get link copy [00:13:19.658] and paste it. [00:13:21.200] send it wherever you want it to go. [00:13:23.479] So you'll notice as we start to click through [00:13:25.807] the platform today, this get link is really going [00:13:27.830] to follow us around quite a bit so we can get [00:13:30.090] a direct link to whatever piece of content [00:13:32.219] or whatever page we we need. [00:13:34.859] We've also got highlights and notes his listed [00:13:37.019] here. We're going to [00:13:38.869] we're going to touch on that once we [00:13:40.889] actually get into an article, but this [00:13:43.019] is newly added to this resource. The ability [00:13:45.119] to highlight and take notes within [00:13:47.239] different articles [00:13:50.139] But let's go ahead and run a search. So instead of browsing, [00:13:52.469] maybe I want to just run a search today, [00:13:54.519] I'm doing a project, let's say I'm a student [00:13:57.038] um on [00:13:58.479] the apparel industry. So I'm going to just search [00:14:00.629] apparel. [00:14:03.489] And you'll notice when I do that. I've got some [00:14:05.609] really nice suggestions here that [00:14:07.700] are organized for me. [00:14:10.989] Ok. If you have a quick question, does the, [00:14:13.099] the Perma link. So the get link require [00:14:15.739] user authentication to access the linked content. [00:14:18.399] So that's a great question mark. [00:14:20.590] Um [00:14:21.798] the get link will allow anyone [00:14:24.259] to click in to see that piece of content that has [00:14:26.298] been linked to. So let's say someone linked to [00:14:28.500] one article. Anyone who has [00:14:30.619] that link will be able to see that one article, [00:14:33.177] but if they want to move forward in the [00:14:35.019] the resource. So maybe they like that article [00:14:37.200] but want to read more [00:14:38.950] At that point they'll have to authenticate [00:14:41.129] however your library requires it. So [00:14:43.229] if they use a a pass password [00:14:46.009] library card, whatever it is at that point [00:14:48.288] they'll be asked to authenticate but anyone [00:14:50.427] will be able to access the permit link to take a look [00:14:52.599] at that specific page. [00:14:58.918] Ok, so again, as I'm looking at my [00:15:01.298] basic search here, you'll see I have [00:15:03.489] some different dropdown options and we've [00:15:05.619] organized them here, you'll see I've got [00:15:07.759] options for company profiles, [00:15:10.048] industry profiles or country profiles [00:15:13.899] I am not gonna click on any of these today though. I'm [00:15:16.028] actually just going to run a basic search on apparel [00:15:18.139] because I don't know what I want exactly. I just [00:15:20.320] know when it's related to apparel. So I'm going to pull everything. [00:15:23.908] So this is what our basic search results page is [00:15:25.940] going to look like. You'll see at the top here, [00:15:28.408] we've organized our content out. So any [00:15:30.519] company profiles related to my search, [00:15:32.609] I've pulled forward here as well as [00:15:34.677] industries. You'll see our trade journals [00:15:36.950] have their own section, reference countries. [00:15:39.489] You'll see there's quite a bit [00:15:41.239] There's a huge amount of news here. And I also [00:15:43.330] like to point out we also have related associations. [00:15:46.307] So again, if you're maybe a a small business owner [00:15:48.798] taking a look at your industry, you [00:15:50.950] may want to join an industry association to stay [00:15:53.038] on top of what's going on or maybe just to get support. [00:15:55.479] So we've got those listed within this [00:15:57.500] resource as well. [00:15:59.278] and we do have academic journals here. [00:16:01.639] So if you have patrons coming in who are maybe [00:16:03.668] looking for that higher level of content. [00:16:05.889] maybe again students coming in for homework help [00:16:08.057] or something like that. [00:16:09.408] We have a whole section for them. [00:16:12.759] Now let's scroll down here on my search results page. [00:16:15.750] So first I want to point out on this right hand side, [00:16:17.798] all of my great filter options here. [00:16:20.408] So say I can choose, if I have a specific [00:16:22.918] industry in mine here, if I have a company [00:16:25.168] type in mine, remember either private [00:16:27.298] or public, I have those here. [00:16:29.519] I can also narrow down based on revenue [00:16:31.840] document type. I can also search [00:16:33.899] within my results. If I want to narrow it down even [00:16:35.918] further, I have that avail ability [00:16:37.969] here and [00:16:40.000] now and I underneath you'll see we have a few checkmarks [00:16:42.298] listed here as well. So mine right now defaults [00:16:44.719] to showing the only full tax documents, we [00:16:46.759] do have citations in this resource. [00:16:49.168] Um so I have decided just to [00:16:51.219] limit down to those full tax documents, [00:16:53.989] I can also narrow it on to peer reviewed journal. So [00:16:56.070] again, if I'm a student coming in and I need [00:16:58.239] that peer reviewed contents, I have that [00:17:00.369] option right here. [00:17:03.250] and then on our all results here on this [00:17:05.308] left hand side, you'll see, we've pulled it forward [00:17:07.528] into different content buckets. So our companies [00:17:09.808] were giving a few [00:17:11.259] just to pull forward. Same [00:17:13.288] as for industries academic journals, all [00:17:15.390] that good stuff. We pulled out all of our different content [00:17:17.759] types. [00:17:19.336] Make it really nice and simple to navigate [00:17:21.479] through. And I can, let's say click into any of my companies [00:17:24.298] and I can take a look at all 6000 companies [00:17:26.397] I have here, or I can click directly [00:17:28.499] into a company. So let's do that. We'll [00:17:30.846] just move forward with Amazon [00:17:33.067] I'm assuming everyone on the line knows [00:17:35.439] about amazon. [00:17:36.739] So we'll go ahead and take a look at amazon, [00:17:40.910] Mhm. and it looks like we have another [00:17:43.058] question I might have missed it. Are nonprofits [00:17:45.097] or charities included in Gale. Um [00:17:47.199] Mark, I don't believe they are. [00:17:49.357] I believe this is strictly going to be for profit [00:17:51.739] businesses, but let me reach out to my [00:17:54.259] um my product team just to make sure [00:17:56.337] because I don't wanna mislead you. Um and I have your [00:17:58.420] information on this question. So I'll just [00:18:00.558] send you an email once the session's done just to verify, [00:18:03.077] but I'm pretty sure we don't include [00:18:05.597] nonprofits or charities, [00:18:08.269] watch out for an email from me shortly. [00:18:11.750] so now that I've clicked on a company, this [00:18:13.880] is going to be a company profile page [00:18:16.229] here. So we've organized this and laid it out [00:18:18.410] really simply so your users are going to be [00:18:20.430] able to find the content they need here. [00:18:22.528] So you'll see at the top you, you just kind of brief [00:18:24.558] bits of information. You'll see, we link to social [00:18:26.640] media if the company has that sort of thing, [00:18:29.259] we'll link to their website, give some [00:18:31.367] quick facts, the quick bits [00:18:33.548] of revenue, employees, all that good stuff. [00:18:35.847] Then as we scroll down, we're starting to get some more [00:18:37.979] advanced information and some more detailed information, [00:18:41.709] So we've got our company overview here. [00:18:44.259] and linked out into that overview are going to be some [00:18:46.400] different articles as well as brands [00:18:48.939] and things like that. You can take a deeper look at [00:18:51.317] next to that. Now remember not every company [00:18:53.357] is going to have a swat analysis but if they do [00:18:55.837] it's going to appear here on this right hand side. [00:18:58.528] the majority of our large public companies [00:19:00.769] are going to have these swat analyses, especially [00:19:03.288] since a lot of them are required to publish them, [00:19:06.509] So we can take a look at this if we want to, I can click [00:19:08.567] read full swat analysis and it's [00:19:10.607] going to pull that forward for me [00:19:12.920] scroll it down here [00:19:14.847] and I'll be able to read through that [00:19:18.400] jump back here though. [00:19:21.067] So underneath, we're going to get into the financials. [00:19:23.548] So you'll see these are pretty pretty advanced. [00:19:25.808] I can click in to get the full information if [00:19:27.930] I want to. But we're giving kind of some [00:19:29.949] of the beginning information right here on this page. [00:19:33.347] underneath that you'll see if we can look at our financial [00:19:35.567] performance over time. [00:19:37.890] At this point you'll see. It also gives me [00:19:40.009] the option to open my compare tool. So if [00:19:42.199] I want to maybe compare amazon to [00:19:44.729] Ebay, I can do that from here. [00:19:46.989] If I would like to, [00:19:48.519] we're not going to today [00:19:51.150] underneath this here, I've got my competitors [00:19:53.890] again, I can compare these at this point if [00:19:55.910] I want to open my comparison charts [00:19:58.009] or I can click directly into my competitors [00:20:00.288] if I want to move forward that way. [00:20:02.390] and then I have my industry listed here as well. So [00:20:04.500] I know we had a a previous question about finding [00:20:06.617] industry codes. So while we don't have [00:20:08.630] a look up right now, if you clicked into a business, [00:20:11.298] we do include each of the industry codes [00:20:13.509] um, related to that business. So that [00:20:15.630] is one way to, to pull the information is [00:20:17.699] to go into a company profile. [00:20:21.699] now underneath that is going to be. [00:20:25.880] so a question, where is the financial data source from [00:20:28.000] and how often is it updated? So we have quite a few [00:20:30.117] different third party [00:20:32.288] groups that we work with to pull out this, get [00:20:34.519] together Most of this is published by the companies [00:20:36.959] and we're talking about their investments, [00:20:39.500] reports, their financial reports and things [00:20:41.607] like that. We also have some Plunket reports [00:20:44.000] in here and quite a few different reports [00:20:46.390] from third parties. So um Mark, [00:20:48.817] it's going to depend on what specific [00:20:51.500] um piece of data you're looking [00:20:53.509] at. but a lot of it is published [00:20:55.630] by companies who are public companies [00:20:58.077] and then we aggregate it together. [00:21:07.759] Ok. And then again at the bottom we can [00:21:09.769] take a look at our company articles here. [00:21:12.107] So this is going to give us kind of the written [00:21:14.170] bit of information. Now, [00:21:16.009] as you'll see, we've got market research reports, [00:21:18.759] trade journal articles as I mentioned. If we have [00:21:20.880] specific trade journals in mind, we can take a look [00:21:23.077] at those [00:21:24.278] and just really simply navigate through [00:21:26.357] everything. [00:21:32.209] Now, I'm going to go back to my search here [00:21:37.538] Now, let's say instead of companies, I wanted to take [00:21:39.670] a look at the industries related to apparel. [00:21:41.920] Remember that was my beginning. Basic search. [00:21:44.979] I can do that. Let's click into an industry [00:21:47.420] instead and see what an industry profile looks [00:21:49.519] like. You'll see. It looks fairly similar of [00:21:51.880] course, just by the nature of the two entities, [00:21:54.140] it's going to be a little bit different, but we have still [00:21:56.357] got our industry overview here. We're still [00:21:58.390] showing revenue as well as number of employees. [00:22:02.140] scrolling down here, we're still giving top [00:22:05.038] companies top competitors to [00:22:07.239] see I can narrow that down to globally or [00:22:09.259] if I have a specific country in mind, I can narrow [00:22:11.308] it down that way [00:22:13.817] underneath we've had we have a few different [00:22:16.259] industry reports from various [00:22:18.439] entities who build those out for us [00:22:21.650] We've got again, related industries [00:22:23.670] and I can browse all my industries here. If [00:22:25.959] I want to [00:22:28.469] and then just like with companies, I've got my articles [00:22:30.930] pulled out down here, below. So again, I can [00:22:33.028] still take a look at all of those articles [00:22:35.087] if I would like to, [00:22:39.587] I'm going to go back one more time [00:22:41.650] to the search that we already ran for payroll. [00:22:44.180] I'm actually going to click into an article [00:22:46.327] as opposed to one of those profiles. [00:22:49.058] So I want to show you some of the next different [00:22:51.170] tools we have when we're taking a look at some [00:22:53.180] piece of text here. [00:22:54.817] Um so let's click into [00:22:59.479] we'll click into one of these magazine articles [00:23:01.699] today. Um we'll do this one [00:23:05.567] So when I'm in a piece of text, I'm not looking [00:23:07.709] at a company, I'm not looking at an industry, I'm just [00:23:09.769] physically looking at an article or [00:23:12.189] a a journal piece, a news report [00:23:14.587] I've got a few different tools that we didn't have [00:23:16.778] previously within either of our business insights, [00:23:19.107] resources. [00:23:20.479] So you'll see at the top of the page here, this is where [00:23:22.577] they appear. So we've got a citation. [00:23:24.827] So if you have students coming in, if [00:23:26.989] you're working at a school library or if you're a public [00:23:29.278] library with students coming in for homework [00:23:31.558] help, they do have a citation available [00:23:34.028] here in M L. A. A P A Chicago [00:23:36.250] or Harvard versions. [00:23:38.469] and they can export that citation [00:23:40.857] to easy bib, noodle tools, [00:23:43.048] google drive one drive, all that good stuff [00:23:46.880] Next to that. We also have a nice send two option [00:23:49.269] here and with this again, we're [00:23:51.327] integrated with both google drive and [00:23:53.420] one drive. So I can send this content to either [00:23:55.650] one of those. I'll just have to sign on [00:23:57.837] and then it'll send it right over for me or I can [00:23:59.910] email this to myself. So this is great [00:24:02.180] if you have a patron who's maybe just quickly [00:24:04.337] trying to pull content, who doesn't have time to sit [00:24:06.459] in your library and read this bit of information. Who wants [00:24:08.630] to just save it for later. They can just [00:24:10.837] quick shoot it into one of their drives and then it's [00:24:12.847] readily available for them. [00:24:15.259] it does create a new folder within their [00:24:17.317] drive that's going to be labeled gale business [00:24:19.607] insights. So all of the content [00:24:22.038] they send over to their drive from business [00:24:24.308] insights are going to be funneled into that one [00:24:26.327] spot for them [00:24:27.798] just to keep them nice and organized. [00:24:31.229] moving forward from that from that send too. We [00:24:33.327] also have both a download [00:24:35.337] feature that's going to download this to the desktop [00:24:37.607] and a print tool [00:24:39.979] Again, I've got my great get link feature [00:24:42.107] here. So if I want to get a link [00:24:44.357] to this specific article, same deal, [00:24:46.719] I can grab that link, share it with whoever I want. [00:24:49.269] Anyone can access this specific [00:24:51.317] page that I linked without having to authenticate. [00:24:54.038] But if they decide to move forward into the resource, [00:24:56.939] then they're going to need to authenticate with however [00:24:59.239] you already have it set up. [00:25:04.298] scrolling down a little bit here. So [00:25:06.337] all of these tools are also [00:25:08.400] found, [00:25:09.509] all of the the sending tools are also found down [00:25:11.719] here under the title of this article. So [00:25:14.019] it's a little bit of redundancy just to make sure your patrons [00:25:16.538] find the tool that they need. We've included [00:25:18.778] it in two different spots. So you'll see, we still [00:25:20.910] have our google drive, our one drive, our email, [00:25:23.058] our download and our print, sending over [00:25:25.160] the same information. It's just a second place [00:25:27.278] to make sure they can find that that content. [00:25:30.880] We also include an explore panel [00:25:32.979] on this right hand side here to help them continue [00:25:35.160] to research. So they want more articles [00:25:37.420] like the one they're currently on, we have that [00:25:39.857] or if they just want some related subjects [00:25:42.317] to what we're looking at right now, we have those listed [00:25:44.367] here as well and that will launch them into [00:25:46.479] a new search result for them to take a look at. [00:25:52.160] Now moving forward with our tools, we've got some really [00:25:54.327] nice we like to call them text manipulation [00:25:56.798] tool but it's tools that are going to [00:25:58.857] help your users really access this content [00:26:01.269] and customize what they're seeing [00:26:03.367] on the screen. [00:26:04.577] So the first is going to be our translate option which [00:26:06.719] is listed right here. [00:26:09.160] When I hit translate, I can now translate [00:26:11.308] my interface language, which is going [00:26:13.449] to change the language of all of the different [00:26:15.500] tools you see on the screen. Let me switch [00:26:17.670] it over here and we'll go to spanish. [00:26:21.979] You see all of my tools have been changed, My search [00:26:24.180] bar is in spanish. All of my little [00:26:26.317] buttons up top here are in spanish, my explore [00:26:28.699] panel is in spanish, it's going to [00:26:30.709] change all of that for me and it's going to change it throughout [00:26:32.949] the whole session. So if I translate [00:26:34.979] my interface before you can get [00:26:37.048] started, I can make sure I know where I'm navigating [00:26:39.337] to but I'm going to switch [00:26:41.538] it back to english here. [00:26:43.357] There we go. [00:26:45.317] And then under that same translate button, you'll [00:26:47.449] see you can translate your article [00:26:50.117] and it is going to translate one article at a time. [00:26:52.337] So as your patrons start to click through, they [00:26:54.357] will need to translate each article. But [00:26:56.380] if they translated that interface language, they're going [00:26:58.567] to know what they're clicking into, they're going to [00:27:00.617] retain that language that they need. [00:27:04.798] right next to that translate feature. We have the [00:27:06.867] ability to increase or decrease the font size [00:27:10.587] again, just to make it as accessible as possible [00:27:13.009] for them [00:27:15.239] we've got some different display options [00:27:17.538] and excuse me [00:27:19.209] so they can choose the color of the background [00:27:21.567] if they like. So whichever they think [00:27:23.660] is easiest to read. They can change [00:27:25.920] the font options here. You'll see. We do have [00:27:28.058] a dyslexia font available for patrons who [00:27:30.097] need that. [00:27:31.160] and then they can also change the line, the letter [00:27:33.298] and the word spacing. [00:27:34.808] So again this is very [00:27:36.930] customizable. We want to make sure they're going to [00:27:38.989] be able to understand this information and [00:27:41.317] see it as clearly as they need it so we can change [00:27:43.660] all of this right here on the platform. [00:27:46.558] I'm gonna go back to my default settings today though just [00:27:48.798] because that's a little bit easier for me to read. [00:27:54.449] Now in addition to this, we have our listen tool [00:27:56.650] which is right next to the display option. So this [00:27:58.808] listen, [00:27:59.640] I'm not going to play it today because I'm not sharing [00:28:01.709] my computer sound with you, but this [00:28:03.880] listen is going to be the full article for [00:28:05.949] them and they can choose if [00:28:07.969] they hit this little gear here [00:28:11.650] to again edit what they're seeing [00:28:14.019] so they can change it defaults to highlighting [00:28:16.298] the text that it's reading. They can turn that off [00:28:18.798] or they can choose what it's highlighting as [00:28:20.857] it's reading. If it's [00:28:23.000] reading a little bit fast for them, they have the option [00:28:25.308] to slow that reading speed down. It [00:28:27.390] defaults to a medium speed, but we do have [00:28:29.449] a slow version as well. [00:28:31.680] So again [00:28:32.709] increase the access the accessibility [00:28:35.269] of this content really simply right here [00:28:41.067] Now, one last document tool, I'm going to show [00:28:43.250] you before we take a look at our comparison charts, [00:28:45.660] is going to be the highlights and notes feature. [00:28:48.680] So if they're reading through an article and they find [00:28:51.009] some really interesting key points that they want to use [00:28:53.269] for whatever it is, maybe they're a small [00:28:55.528] business owner who's building their own business plan and [00:28:57.538] this is something that's going to help them with a specific [00:28:59.769] section. [00:29:00.660] Maybe it's a general researcher [00:29:02.739] who just found something really interesting that [00:29:04.798] they want to maybe take a closer look at later, [00:29:07.189] so they copy and paste that little bit of information [00:29:09.449] and they can save it. [00:29:11.680] so I'm just going to click and drag over [00:29:13.739] whatever I think is important. [00:29:15.880] I can highlight this [00:29:21.107] I can add a note if I want to and I can save it. [00:29:23.729] and I can do that as many times as I want [00:29:25.798] and in as many articles as [00:29:27.949] I want. So I can go through if I'm researching, [00:29:30.259] you know, if I think key market players are really important, [00:29:33.420] Um [00:29:35.558] I can highlight those [00:29:37.170] so I can go through and highlight anything as I I think [00:29:39.459] is important in as many articles as I want. [00:29:42.719] But these highlights of these notes are session [00:29:44.750] based. So your users, if [00:29:46.910] they do decide to to mark up these pieces [00:29:49.160] of text, they need to get this out of the platform [00:29:51.709] before they're signed off or before they close out [00:29:53.719] of their browser so they can do that in any [00:29:55.798] of the ways I previously mentioned. They can send over [00:29:57.979] to their drives, they can email, download or print [00:30:00.837] and then we keep those highlights for them. [00:30:07.949] and we have a question where do the notes show [00:30:10.009] up? I don't see it. I don't see it next [00:30:12.229] to the text. You are correct. So the notes [00:30:14.459] will one show up here? If I [00:30:17.788] If I click on the highlight it will appear [00:30:19.817] here. And [00:30:22.269] if I decided to download or print this [00:30:24.308] or send it wherever, um [00:30:26.670] the highlights is going to appear at the bottom [00:30:29.019] of the page and it's going to include [00:30:31.660] um any notes that I took. So it'll be at the [00:30:33.739] bottom of the page, you'll get the highlight with [00:30:35.817] the information I highlighted and then the notes will [00:30:37.900] appear down there. [00:30:42.949] And they're all also found in a different spot as [00:30:45.117] well. So if I click up now to my [00:30:47.239] highlights and notes, you'll see. I've got a little three attached [00:30:49.650] to that. If I click into this here, [00:30:52.337] I'm gonna click a view. All highlights and notes, [00:30:57.170] This is a really nice [00:30:59.880] Place for your users to land. If they have [00:31:01.949] highlighted, you know, three or four articles [00:31:04.160] because they're going to have all of those article [00:31:06.469] highlights listed in this one page. You'll see, I've got [00:31:08.489] the title of the article. I clicked into. [00:31:11.239] I've got each of those highlights and then I'll [00:31:13.250] see the notes I took [00:31:15.400] and then I can also edit those notes if I want to add [00:31:17.558] more. So this is a nice landing point. [00:31:19.607] If they've done a lot of this research, [00:31:21.689] they can come here, they can take a look at all of that, [00:31:23.900] They can jump back into whatever article they need, [00:31:26.439] but they can also send this particular [00:31:28.500] page over to their drives or they can [00:31:30.538] download or print them. [00:31:35.327] Yeah, I agree and I agree that it is very cool. [00:31:38.430] It's a really nice feature. So if you do have [00:31:40.750] um a lot of [00:31:42.347] research being done in one session, you know, and they [00:31:44.430] don't want to lose all of this information. [00:31:46.650] and maybe they don't want to send five whole articles [00:31:49.150] to their drive. They think it might be a [00:31:51.209] little bit overwhelming for them. They [00:31:53.229] can just highlight the parts, they do want to keep [00:31:55.439] come to this highlights and notes page [00:31:57.729] and then send it over where they want it to go. [00:32:00.567] And what's great is when they send it it does [00:32:02.607] send the title of each article with the hyperlink. [00:32:05.298] So if they come back to this page and realize that they do [00:32:07.439] actually want to dive deeper [00:32:09.607] into an article, they've already got the hyperlink. [00:32:11.910] They'll be able to click right back into that article [00:32:14.107] within the platform to continue their reading [00:32:20.250] Yeah, we have a question. Can I explain how the highlight legend [00:32:22.640] works? I most certainly can. [00:32:26.640] So you can make labels scroll [00:32:28.969] down here [00:32:37.519] strange. [00:32:40.170] Ok. Um Well the labels button [00:32:42.519] should be here, not quite sure [00:32:44.577] why it isn't. [00:32:45.650] but generally with a highlight legend, you can [00:32:47.910] choose to label different highlight [00:32:49.989] colors so you'll see I've colored in purple [00:32:52.269] and blue and there are a few other highlight options as [00:32:54.400] well And I can [00:32:56.538] label each of those. So if I wanted to label maybe [00:32:58.660] purple as um, [00:33:01.150] beginning research may be blue with financials [00:33:03.528] and then I have chosen orange to represent [00:33:05.729] competitors or something like that. [00:33:07.778] Um, I can do, I should [00:33:10.077] be able to do that here. I'm not quite sure why [00:33:12.288] my labels aren't appearing. [00:33:14.788] Um but thank you for pointing that out. I'm also going [00:33:16.798] to bring that to my product manager because generally [00:33:19.317] you'll have a button up top here that says labels, [00:33:21.567] you'll be able to click into it and then label [00:33:23.778] through your different, your different [00:33:25.959] highlight colors. And then those labels are [00:33:28.117] going to appear right here. [00:33:34.170] Ok, now does anyone have any question about [00:33:36.367] any of the tools that I just went over? [00:33:38.640] any of the features, how they function, [00:33:40.650] anything like that at all? [00:33:47.769] Ok, I don't see any. So [00:33:49.788] I want to take a look at our comparison charts [00:33:51.867] because those are of course a big part of this resource [00:33:54.808] and they look a little bit different now. So [00:33:56.827] I'm I just jumped back to home just so we have like [00:33:58.939] a nice landing point so everyone knows where we [00:34:00.959] are. and I'm going to click into my compare [00:34:03.390] button, which is in my toolbar right here, [00:34:08.550] So now from this point I can choose to [00:34:10.969] compare either companies, [00:34:13.099] industries or countries. The defaults just a popping [00:34:15.199] up on companies.but on this [00:34:17.219] left hand side here I can change it if I want [00:34:19.309] it to be industries or countries, but we'll [00:34:21.478] keep it as companies for now. [00:34:23.378] And they can search by name or ti [00:34:25.559] or simple if it's a public company, I recommend [00:34:27.570] using tick or simple just because a lot [00:34:29.840] of times it's a little bit more precise. Sometimes [00:34:32.059] different companies will have different subsidies. [00:34:34.889] Um [00:34:35.809] kind of pulled out separately so you might get [00:34:37.909] more than one entry. So I always recommend [00:34:40.059] using theeither the ticker symbol [00:34:42.378] if it's a company or the industry code [00:34:44.530] if it's an industry. [00:34:49.239] And we've got just one quick question and it is [00:34:51.309] not a dumb question at all about keeping [00:34:53.878] highlights and notes. So once [00:34:56.148] your, your patron sends highlights and notes [00:34:58.228] to wherever they want them to go, if they send them over [00:35:00.239] to their drive or if they email them, um [00:35:02.849] that content is theirs forever. [00:35:05.079] So that document with the notes they took [00:35:07.530] will always be in their drive. It's not going to, [00:35:10.849] you know, magically disappear after a few months [00:35:13.418] whenever they need it. It's going to be on their drive [00:35:15.668] in the gale business insights folder. [00:35:23.898] into second parts of that question. Will [00:35:26.018] um will it follow through any upgrades? [00:35:28.159] So, even when this platform upgrades [00:35:30.539] any content that patrons [00:35:32.780] or that users have pulled out of the resource [00:35:34.800] previously, even if it's the old interface, [00:35:37.478] um [00:35:38.918] is going to appear on your one drive. [00:35:41.360] Um because it's really, it's almost like a copy and paste [00:35:43.639] of a document. So they have that [00:35:45.728] stable document there for them. [00:35:50.739] hm So [00:35:54.449] let's get started here with our [00:35:56.719] comparison chart. So I'm [00:35:58.728] going to compare Apple and Microsoft [00:36:00.949] because they're pretty popular. We all know about [00:36:03.059] them So Apple [00:36:05.320] I'm going to search I'm going to add here [00:36:07.478] again, I'm using the taker symbol just because it's [00:36:09.550] a bit easier for me. [00:36:13.090] So we're going to include Microsoft here. [00:36:18.018] now? I've got my two [00:36:20.099] options listed here. I can search a total [00:36:22.159] of three. So if I also wanted to search [00:36:24.840] um Samsung, [00:36:26.978] I can have Samsung here as well. And [00:36:29.070] then I need to choose what metric I want to compare. [00:36:31.119] I can compare revenue or I can compare employees. [00:36:34.280] So if I select revenue, I've got that listed here, [00:36:36.739] I can also choose to search both. [00:36:39.329] Makes it a little bit um [00:36:42.559] harder to read. So we're going to stick just with [00:36:44.590] the one today. [00:36:46.429] but I have that listed here. You'll see it's still [00:36:48.659] interactive so I can take a look at the different [00:36:50.760] amounts here, [00:36:52.699] It's given me the information on each company below. [00:36:55.820] and I can actually click into these company profiles [00:36:58.039] now. So if I'm [00:37:00.010] man, more interested in [00:37:02.018] Apple and want to continue to learn about them. [00:37:04.159] I don't need to go somewhere else and come back [00:37:06.280] or I don't need to search Apple and try to find them [00:37:08.300] in my search results. I can just click [00:37:10.389] into my new company profile and it's automatically [00:37:12.728] going to launch me there. [00:37:16.438] now I do have the option to view this as a table [00:37:18.579] as well. If I prefer that option, you'll [00:37:20.610] see, I can do that right here, [00:37:23.438] I personally like the chart, I think it's nice [00:37:25.489] to get the, the visual of it. So I'm going to leave [00:37:27.639] it as chart for today [00:37:29.579] and now I can send this information. So you'll [00:37:31.679] see, I can send this info over to my google drive. [00:37:33.750] My one driver, my email [00:37:36.550] I can also download or print it right here [00:37:38.889] and again, I've got my gali tool. [00:37:41.768] So I can hold on to this information now, [00:37:44.110] just like highlights and notes, any charts [00:37:46.719] that I make anything in this session. [00:37:49.050] Once I click off of it, it's gone. [00:37:51.590] So, if I did build out a chart that I want [00:37:53.610] to keep, make sure they send it over somewhere [00:37:55.909] or they download it or they print it and they'll be able to keep [00:37:58.128] that information, [00:38:00.429] and I can easily remove any of these at any time [00:38:02.648] as well. So, if I now just want to look at Apple, [00:38:05.599] I can get rid of Microsoft. And now I'm just looking at the [00:38:07.648] one company. [00:38:09.030] So even though it's technically not comparing, [00:38:11.409] I can take a look at one company to see where [00:38:13.478] they've, where they've been and where they're going. [00:38:19.929] now. I've got just one final tool. [00:38:22.128] I want to take a look at. I wanna look at our advanced search, [00:38:24.409] which is [00:38:25.469] which is pretty beefed up now. So [00:38:27.708] do we have any questions about the comparison charts [00:38:30.478] or some of those tools we went over? [00:38:35.780] Ok. [00:38:36.898] No question. So, let's go ahead and jump into advanced [00:38:39.039] search then. So it's going to be found right next [00:38:41.360] to our basic search bar. If we're [00:38:43.378] on the home page, let me jump back here. It's just right [00:38:45.518] underneath our basic search bar. [00:38:47.860] when I click into this here, I've got so many [00:38:50.090] different options to narrow down to what I'm looking [00:38:52.289] for. So we've got our advanced search here [00:38:55.280] scroll down a little bit and you'll see. [00:38:57.478] We give some nice information on what they're [00:38:59.500] going to be searching with these different fields. So [00:39:01.619] if I [00:39:02.530] um [00:39:04.668] let's say entire document. [00:39:06.510] if I want to search in the entire document, [00:39:09.010] it's telling me what results are going to show. It's [00:39:11.148] changing these finds results. That section [00:39:18.010] look, I got a few questions, what are your exact [00:39:20.438] sources for stats? what [00:39:22.728] full text periodicals are included, [00:39:25.268] yep. So [00:39:29.010] when we're talking about periodicals and publications, [00:39:31.559] we can take a look right here. We can actually search [00:39:33.750] and browse through those, [00:39:36.750] So clicking into my publications here, [00:39:39.539] You'll see. I've got 14,000 [00:39:41.559] results and then I can narrow it down here on [00:39:43.590] this right hand side. So if I'm looking for [00:39:46.000] a specific format or a specific [00:39:48.280] subject, I can narrow that down here. [00:39:51.659] We've also got a few different language [00:39:54.369] [00:39:54.378] publications here as well. So we've got a few [00:39:58.199] options that are not originally [00:40:00.398] in english. Excuse me. [00:40:03.378] And I can also search at the very top here. Search [00:40:05.619] my publication, [00:40:13.239] I'm just reading through, we've got another question here. So are there [00:40:15.329] articles comparing Ceo s of companies, [00:40:17.679] how about instructional resources for [00:40:19.780] starting day training, our staff investing in general [00:40:22.688] or articles on how to start a [00:40:24.699] specific business? So [00:40:27.550] we don't have them labeled as such, [00:40:29.590] like I can't pull forward um a a Ceo [00:40:31.978] comparison table or something like that. [00:40:34.268] Um But I would assume if you started [00:40:36.610] kind of searching through this resource or searching through publications, [00:40:39.579] you're certainly going to find. Um [00:40:42.478] publications that are going to include some of those [00:40:44.500] ideas. Certainly. [00:40:52.500] And we've got a usage [00:40:55.219] question here about counter [00:40:57.518] four Counter five reports. Um [00:40:59.559] So amy let me again talk to products. [00:41:01.878] Um I've not been updated on the [00:41:04.039] the usage reporting just yet. So let me reach [00:41:06.110] out to them for that as well. Um Just [00:41:08.179] like with Mark before we ask a question [00:41:10.559] um Let me get back to you on that with my product team to [00:41:12.648] see if they have updated to the Counter five [00:41:14.878] yet. And [00:41:20.860] now a question, would there be any strategic planning [00:41:23.070] docs available with company [00:41:25.090] profiles? So if excuse [00:41:27.659] me. Um If the companies have published [00:41:30.030] something, [00:41:31.378] that we can add within this resource. We will, [00:41:33.559] so if they have their own strategic planning, um, [00:41:35.820] a lot of times we'll get their um, you [00:41:37.878] know, their their year, yearly published [00:41:40.688] bit of content. But if they [00:41:42.699] put something out there, we will certainly have that available. [00:41:45.329] lots of our publications. We have things like [00:41:47.583] case studies that are going to give you quite [00:41:49.684] a bit of information on different strategies and things [00:41:51.744] that have been used. [00:41:52.934] Um, so it really, it depends on the company [00:41:55.014] if they've built that out for themselves. [00:41:57.135] And it also depends on the publication, [00:41:59.313] you can take a look at some of the different publications [00:42:01.965] to see what they're highlighting. [00:42:09.949] So, let me just jump back here to my advanced search [00:42:13.449] So I did want to scroll down just to show you some of the [00:42:15.510] different bits of information here. So [00:42:17.780] underneath are great search limiters. So again, [00:42:20.030] I can narrow down just a full text or just to peer [00:42:22.179] review it if I want to. But this is a really [00:42:24.360] useful section here and narrowing down by content [00:42:26.929] type So again, [00:42:29.079] I can narrow it down just to companies if I want to [00:42:31.159] just take a look at companies. But what's nice [00:42:33.329] is I can also narrow it down if I just want to take a look at case [00:42:35.539] studies maybe. So if I want to see what other companies [00:42:38.398] in my industry have done in the past, we've [00:42:40.599] got full text case studies here available. [00:42:44.059] We've also got market research reports. [00:42:46.079] So if we're looking for um I know some people [00:42:48.128] have asked different statistics or [00:42:50.398] different bits of information. You can pull [00:42:52.510] those actually directly from the reports. It will have [00:42:54.659] all of the the publisher information [00:42:57.099] right on that piece of content and you'll be able to pull those [00:42:59.378] forward. So we do have that available here [00:43:01.500] as well as market share and rankings [00:43:03.728] on here. [00:43:18.228] looks like you have another question. I noticed that you have a directory [00:43:20.780] in your publication format. What qualifies [00:43:23.070] a resource to be included in your directory? [00:43:25.829] Um So [00:43:27.860] in our publication format, I'm sorry on this page [00:43:30.110] are we talking about [00:43:33.429] just want to make sure I'm responding [00:43:35.750] to exactly what you're [00:43:37.719] ok on our um [00:43:39.889] Our publication. [00:43:46.489] Sorry, I just want to make sure I'm answering exactly [00:43:48.619] what you're looking for. Um our publication format. [00:43:51.398] Um [00:43:52.228] So that's just that's indicated by the publisher. [00:43:55.070] So that's been flagged on the publisher as [00:43:57.128] a type of um, of publication. [00:43:59.750] So most likely that we have you know, contact [00:44:02.128] information for whatever industry or whatever [00:44:04.559] bit of contents is covered [00:44:06.869] in that [00:44:09.349] So that's not our directory, that's external [00:44:12.128] publisher directories, [00:44:26.610] Sorry, I'm just clearing out to make sure we get all of our questions [00:44:29.070] answered. [00:44:36.289] And we've got a question here about our industry [00:44:38.648] codes, do we use the 2017 version [00:44:40.728] or the 2022 version? [00:44:44.039] That's another great, great question I would assume, [00:44:46.409] since we're updating Gil business insights [00:44:48.478] now that we have the updated version. [00:44:50.659] But again, Carol, that's something I can bring to my product [00:44:52.878] managers to get the exact information for [00:44:55.018] you. Um I know with the current [00:44:57.139] business insights essentials or global, [00:44:59.199] I believe we are still using the 2017 version. [00:45:01.699] but let me just check with them. I'm assuming the 2022 [00:45:04.280] will roll out with this update if it hasn't [00:45:06.389] already. So I'll get with them [00:45:09.070] and give you a full answer there. [00:45:17.309] And then look for another question exporting [00:45:19.469] to specific country information, [00:45:22.280] um, Henry, can you expand upon that [00:45:24.429] just a little bit, [00:45:26.760] um [00:45:27.889] Are you asking? [00:45:30.489] Mhm Yeah, if you could just expand upon that [00:45:32.619] a little bit for me. [00:45:34.849] I'll be able to to answer that for you. [00:45:40.250] I'm not sure is the question, um, countries [00:45:42.849] exporting to other countries or [00:45:45.099] um, [00:45:46.030] what a country's export is [00:45:49.958] Um because if we're looking let me jump [00:45:52.079] here into [00:45:54.378] a country here, [00:45:56.610] just click into the United States here. Excuse [00:45:59.119] me. So if we're looking at a country [00:46:01.659] you'll see we do get quite a bit of information about [00:46:03.760] that country. So that's [00:46:05.750] what you're referring to. Um [00:46:08.050] you'll get that information here right on our country [00:46:10.329] section. [00:46:14.039] and we do have a country overview [00:46:16.360] as well as a market line industry report [00:46:18.550] listed here. [00:46:23.929] So Henry. If you could just give me a bit more [00:46:26.079] information, I'll make sure I can answer your question all [00:46:28.099] the way through. [00:46:29.070] Um And I don't see any other questions. [00:46:31.398] So before we leave for today since we're technically [00:46:33.719] over time just a little bit um I do [00:46:35.750] want to give you guys some wrap up information so [00:46:37.800] if you have further questions I want you to be supported [00:46:40.340] nowhere to go.
